My Study Life

My Study Life (Chrome, iOS, Android, Windows) is a good app to start the school year or new semester. Also, it is one of those Study Apps for Students that works like a planner but with more flexibility than the regular paper planner. One of my biggest concerns when choosing a planner is the rigidity of the schedule.

It’s hourly, weekly or daily, but it looks just the same, every page. This is not reality. Yeah, sometimes you’re busy and sometimes you’re not. The coolest thing about this app, in my opinion, is that you can enter rotating schedules.

Do you have a class that meets every other week or every other day? No problem. Do you have a schedule for doing Block A or Block B? That’s excellent. This app allows you to select your layout.

In high school, there are schedules for quarters, quarters, and semesters. Some schools even open year-round. Insert extracurricular hours into this combination and it’s a scheduling delay. Then of entering the university, the same happens.

You own the

  • Fall semester and quarter classes;
  • Then the winter semester;
  • The spring semester plus quarter classes;
  • The May period and summer classes.

The faculties have their own hours and they can do whatever they want. You also get reminders of upcoming assignments and classes through the app. So to-do lists make it easy for you to plug in more than just homework, so you can keep your life organized in one place.

Your daily page doesn’t just show you the times you need to be there and the classes you have. It also shows you what’s due at the end of the week or what you have that’s late. So the My Study Life app is valuable, and I would have loved to have known that in high school. It would have also been an excellent tool when I was in college.

Evernote

If you’re looking for a place to keep all your notes, research or data, Evernote is the platform for you. However, the basic version is free and syncs between your computer and mobile device.

For new and casual users, the basic package is all you need. Evernote lets you collect your information and keep it all in one place. For example, if you are writing a research paper, you can “cut” information from many articles and websites and keep it all on one page.

It is fundamentally an electronic folder for all your notes. No more digging through piles of papers to find what you’re looking for. If you live in the world of group plans, you can also contribute with your group members.

In addition to the chat solution, you can also share pages with them and they can share their work with you. Very useful. For Evernote users, you can purchase upgrades (like the presentation type). You will be able to determine information about additional features and pricing on its website.

Dragon Anywhere

Dragon Anywhere is a dictation app that helps you dictate your study notes by saying on your device. Also, Dragon Anywhere subscription starts at $15 per month followed by a 7-day free trial.

Once your subscription starts, you can use the free app to log in and dictate from anywhere to your device. This app is much more necessary than the Siri dictation. The Dragon Anywhere app closes by itself if you are silent for 20 seconds.

As long as you don’t pause, the app keeps dictating as long as you keep saying. There is a user defined dictionary so you can enter your most spoken words.

Another great feature is the voice commands, containing “cross out this”, which deletes your last test dictation, or “go to end of field”, which moves the cursor to the end of the text. So, you can share spoken text with other apps.
